Teacher of Languages (Spanish and French) job summary

Whether you are an NQT or an experienced practitioner, if you are passionate about teaching Spanish and French, and committed to helping your pupils achieve their full potential, West Exe wants to hear from you. We are looking to recruit a teaching professional to play an active role in our continued drive to create outstanding life chances for our students. In all our decisions, our students come first, whether that be planning and hosting exciting cultural visits and exchanges abroad, introducing foreign language texts onto the West Exe canon or expanding our wide and varied school based extra-curricular activities. A successful candidate will share these values and help to ensure that a student focused approach is always at the forefront of our decision making. We are committed to providing the very best environment for professional growth, believing that this is key to fostering an innovative and a progressive atmosphere. Each member of the department plays a part towards moving our vision forwards – with everyone having the opportunity to lead on some aspect of the curriculum or school life. Regardless of your years of experience, if you are reflective in your approach and have a desire to continuously improve your practice, this is the school for you. Finally, we believe in being welcoming to all, students and practitioners alike and always value the opportunity to discuss the department and language teaching with others. If you are interested in finding out more about the school, please visit our website at www.westexe.devon.sch.uk or alternatively contact the school on 01392 660100 to arrange a visit.
