We are looking for a Teacher of PE
Key responsibilities:
Game Master Extraordinaire Design and lead exciting activities that turn fitness into play— you’re the architect of fun that gets everyone moving with a smile. Champion of Team Spirit Encourage teamwork, fair play, and sportsmanship by helping students discover the thrill of working together, celebrating victories, and learning from challenges. Confidence Builder Empower students to believe in themselves by helping them set personal goals, celebrate progress, and discover that physical activity is for everyone Lifelong Health Hero Teach students how movement, nutrition, and wellbeing connect, inspiring them to carry healthy habits beyond the gym and into everyday life.
Safeguarding Campion Ensure every child feels safe, supported, and included during PE lessons by actively promoting wellbeing, spotting concerns early, and following safeguarding policies to protect students both on and off the field.
Pay range: M1 - M6 (Fringe) £34,398 - £46,839
Qualifications and Skills:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Required to teach in state schools; typically achieved through a PGCE or equivalent route. Degree in Physical Education or Related Subject: A bachelor’s degree in PE, sport science, or a relevant discipline is standard. Safeguarding Training: Completion of statutory safeguarding training in line with KCSIE 2025, ensuring teachers understand their duty to protect and promote the welfare of children
