What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking an enthusiastic, reflective, and committed Teacher of Mathematics who is passionate about their subject and motivated to make a genuine difference to young people’s lives.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a qualified teacher of Mathematics (QTS).
- Be an effective and engaging classroom practitioner, able to inspire, challenge, and motivate students.
- Have the ability to teach Mathematics confidently across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 for the right candidate.
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and an understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies.
- Have high expectations of all learners and a commitment to inclusive, high-quality education.
- Be collaborative, reflective, and keen to contribute to curriculum development and the sharing of best practice.
- Show enthusiasm, resilience, and a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment opportunities.
- Share our commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
