This is a role where you can inspire confidence, build fluency and help students see the value of maths in the real world.

About the Role

The successful candidate will help students build confidence and fluency in numeracy by delivering clear, engaging lessons that develop problem‑solving, logical thinking, and reasoning skills. You will support learners in understanding mathematical concepts, applying them to real‑life situations, and developing a positive mindset towards the subject. Through clear explanations, targeted support, and high expectations.

Key priorities for the role include:

Teachers benefit from dedicated mathematics teaching spaces that enhance high‑quality learning and collaboration. The department delivers a broad mathematics curriculum designed to support a wide range of learners, offering pathways such as GCSE Mathematics, A Level Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Statistics, Core Mathematics, Extended Mathematics and Entry Level Mathematics.

Students are also actively encouraged to participate in Mathematics Challenges and enrichment opportunities that strengthen their problem-solving skills and spark enthusiasm for the subject.
