Teacher of Mathematics job summary

We are seeking an inspirational Maths teacher to join our unique, oversubscribed, all-through school. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to share their passion for learning and develop the mathematicians of the future in our outstanding school.

Maths at Simon Balle is an extremely popular subject with many students enjoying their experience in Maths and choosing to study it further in KS5. We commit time to ensure our interleaved curriculum is enriched with key aspects that our students will need. You will be joining a highly supportive and collaborative staff team who benefit from shared curriculum planning. This is to ensure we really are creating tomorrow’s mathematical citizens today.

We are seeking the following;

  • A candidate who is dynamic, unapologetically passionate and innovative with excellent knowledge of maths throughout the key stages.
  • A teacher who is ambitious to professional develop and committed to working collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A talented and hard working practitioner seeking an opportunity to work in our outstanding school.

The role is preferably full time but part time will be considered and applications are welcome from newly qualified or experienced teachers. Early Career Teachers will benefit from a start date in July to support a full induction.
