In August 2022 our mathematics results were outstanding, 85% of our students gaining 4+, 71% at 5+ and 36% achieving 7+. Progress 8 scores have consistently been outstanding at 0.50+ or better, including August 2022 where the progress 8 score was + 0.78.

Mathematics is taught in a suite of 11 fully resourced classrooms, all with Smartboards, AQA text materials and visualisers. In addition, there are two discrete ICT areas attached to the department.
