Teacher of Mathematics KS5 job summary
At WAT, maths is more than a subject—it’s a passion! More students study Mathematics here than any other subject. This year, we expect around 300 students to take A-level Maths and over 100 to take Further Maths at Kimberley College.
Many of our students go on to study Maths or related degrees at university, and Year 11 students thrive in the AQA Level 2 Certificate in Further Mathematics. Delivering high-quality maths education to so many students requires a brilliant team. Across our college and school, 14 expert teachers cover everything from KS3 and KS4 to A-levels, bringing energy, creativity, and care to every lesson. We value collaboration, innovation, and a love of learning, creating an environment where both students and staff can flourish.
With the growth at Kimberley, and the increasing popularity of Maths, we’re looking for more passionate teachers to join our team. Whether you can teach A-level or Further Maths, we provide full support to help you develop. If you love maths and inspiring students, Kimberley College is the place to make an impact and be part of a thriving, dynamic department.
This position is suitable for either an ECT or an experienced teacher who is committed to enabling every student to achieve the very best they can, and is dedicated to their own professional development. The right candidate will have the opportunity to teach A level Maths.
