Teacher of Mathematics job summary
The mathematics department has a clear vision – ‘to inspire the mathematician in all children and promote a love of inquisitive thinking and problem solving’. The department works collaboratively to ensure exceptional standards of teaching with the students always at the heart of everything we do. Mathematical confidence is built in our learners through a caring, supportive approach; teaching for depth of understanding and numerical fluency in order to create resilient and flexible young mathematicians.
We are looking to appoint an excellent classroom practitioner to cover the current postholder’s maternity leave. The successful candidate will have the ability to teach mathematics across key stages 3, 4 and 5 and be passionate about their subject and able to inspire all students to reach their full potential. We are willing to consider applications from people requesting part-time hours.
