The state-of-the-art facilities offer a modern, flexible, technology-rich environment for teaching and learning making it one of the very best equipped schools in the country. The Academy is led by Peter Knight, Principal, who has led the Academy on a journey of rapid improvement and has set foundations for the school to be very successful in the near future. In light of this constant improvement, Oasis Academy Brislington will be oversubscribed in Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 by September 2022. Due to this growth, we are now recruiting for posts to start in September 2022.
The Mathematics team is passionate about delivering a stimulating curriculum through engaging lessons which meet our expectation of “Every Lesson, Every Day, Good or Better”. The successful candidate, who is a strong classroom practitioner with excellent subject knowledge and can deliver at both KS3 and KS4, will be a committed individual able to inspire and motivate our young people. This appointment will also be an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to develop outstanding subject knowledge working with an excellent department that has developed an exciting and fully resourced Mathematics curriculum. You should be passionate about Mathematics and be single minded in your determination to enthuse students, leading to the highest possible outcomes.
Staff are very well supported in the Academy with weekly meetings focused on teaching and learning which are both vibrant and stimulating. Through your line manager you will receive high quality individual support and challenge to ensure that your teaching career develops further and you grow as an outstanding subject lead.
