What skills and experience we're looking for

If you are an Early Career Teacher, you will be supported by your individual subject Mentor and the wider ECT team both within the Academy, and nationally. The opportunity to join a successful department, with a proven track record and a wealth of expertise in their subject and pedagogy.

Job/Person Summary

The successful candidate will be required to teach Mathematics to all abilities across KS3 and KS4 to an excellent standard and be willing to enrich the curriculum with their own knowledge and experience.

This role offers excellent opportunities for the right candidate to develop their role working in collaboration with the other academies in Southampton. You must be able to use a range of teaching strategies to inspire and motivate our students and demonstrate a commitment to sharing best practice with colleagues in the department. We are looking for a passionate teacher who shares our desire for the highest academic standards for young people.

A willingness to support the Academy ethos and extra-curricular activities within the Academy is essential.
