We are looking for:
• An experienced teacher or an NQT with a strong classroom presence and a commitment to excellent Mathematics teaching.
• A person who is able to work well in a team and is looking to develop their Mathematics teaching.

Essential educational requirements

Good honours degree or equivalent.
• PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate of Education) or equivalent teaching qualification

Qualified teacher status (QTS) or Newly qualified teacher (NQT)
Secondary school trained

• A commitment to excellent teaching.
• Ability to teach Mathematics to GCSE level and ideally to A level.
• A strong classroom presence.
• Knowledge of curriculum issues for pupils aged 11-18 and current issues in Mathematics.
• Ability to use ICT effectively to assist with teaching and learning, as well as for recording and reporting.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate with a range of audiences including pupils, staff, parents and governors.
