Stamford Welland Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, talented and inspiring Teacher of Mathematics to join our successful and supportive Mathematics Department from January 2027. The role offers an exciting opportunity for either an Early Career Teacher or an experienced practitioner who is passionate about delivering high-quality mathematics education and making a real difference to young people’s lives. The post is paid on the Main Pay Scale or Upper Pay Scale.

The RoleAs a Teacher of Mathematics, you will:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality mathematics lessons across the age and ability range.
- Inspire students to develop confidence, resilience and a love of learning.
- Be accountable for students’ attainment, progress and outcomes.
- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons that challenge and support all learners.
- Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and inform future teaching.
- Contribute to the wider life of the academy through our vertical tutoring system and strong pastoral culture.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to continually improve teaching and learning.
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has excellent subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics.
- Is an outstanding or aspiring outstanding classroom practitioner.
- Has high expectations of learning, achievement and behaviour.
- Is committed to fostering positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
- Demonstrates strong communication and organisational skills.
