Teacher of Mathematics job summary

Maplesden Noakes is an 11-18 co-educational non-selective school with approximately 1214 pupils on roll including 262 in the sixth form. The school has an excellent reputation, is popular with parents and regularly over-subscribed. We are seeking to appoint a full-time Teacher of Mathematics from September 2020. The successful candidate will have the ability to teach up to and including GCSE. The ability to teach A Level would be beneficial, but is not essential. The position is open to NQTs as well as more experienced colleagues and a TLR payment may be available for the right candidate. About the School The school has embarked upon a High Performance Learning programme which is based on the premise that intelligence is not fixed and performance is not bound by prior attainment. We believe that all of our pupils have the potential to achieve the very highest standards of performance no matter what their background or previous achievement. Maplesden Noakes is situated on the west side of Maidstone approximately 40 miles south east of London. The school benefits from having strong links with the local business community.
