We are looking to appoint an inspiring and outstanding classroom practitioner to join our Maths Department here at Myton. The position is to cover maternity leave for the majority of academic year 2026/27.

 

We have 11 brand new teaching rooms designated as Mathematics rooms, each of which is equipped with a laptop, whiteboard and an interactive screen. Each room has a variety of textbooks, including CGP for KS3 and Elmwood (Michael White) for KS4. We also have a dedicated department office with space for staff to work away from their classrooms. Our Maths HLTA is able to support lessons or lead small group interventions.

Our staff offer students a massive range of extra-curricular opportunities in addition to a wide curriculum and we would be delighted to expand this further if you have additional time and talents to share.
