(Please note, This is a regional post on a permanent contract within our Teesside region. Your first posting will be at Outwood Academy in Redcar until August 2026, with the potential to relocate elsewhere within the Teesside region from September 2026 onwards.)

Outwood Academy Redcar welcomes students aged 11-16, located in the scenic coastal town of Redcar near Middlesbrough in the North-East region.

About the Department

The maths department at Outwood Academy Redcar has 7 classrooms based in our dedicated maths wing, each equipped with an interactive TV and visualiser to support the delivery of lessons. You will be joining a strong department with a wealth of experience in teaching Key Stage 3 and GCSE maths. We also benefit from a maths one to one tutor who offers intervention to students. The department will be led by our experienced Head of Department, starting in September, with a vision to succeed. Leadership development, succession planning and capacity building are major priorities for the Trust as this enables us to facilitate rapid progression for those who want to advance either in the classroom or at a leadership level.
