Teacher of Maths job summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Maths Teacher to join our supportive and successful department on a part-time (0.6) permanent basis at Chatham Grammar, with the potential for full-time hours for an exceptional candidate. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and experienced teacher with specialist knowledge of Mathematics. You will be passionate about inspiring students, committed to ongoing professional development, and eager to create engaging and challenging learning experiences. With a positive attitude and a resilient nature, you will help students build confidence in their mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities.

Chatham Grammar (CG) is a selective girls’ academy for students aged 11-19, with a mixed sixth form, sponsored by the University of Kent. From September 2026, CG will begin its transition to a fully coeducational academy by welcoming boys into Year 7.
