About You:
As a Teacher of Maths at Abbeyfield School, you will be a passionate and dedicated educator with high expectations for every student and a commitment to helping them achieve their full potential. You will bring strong subject knowledge, the ability to deliver engaging and challenging lessons, and a track record of inspiring progress across the mathematics curriculum. A reflective practitioner, you will be committed to continuous professional development, work collaboratively with colleagues, and build positive relationships with students, families, and the wider school community. Our Ideal candidate will have:
- Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status and Good Honours Degree
- Innovation: Evidence of promotion of innovation in teaching and learning.
- Inclusive Practice: The ability to develop a philosophy of high aspiration and expectation for every student giving cognisance to SEND, equal opportunities, diversity, ethos and student management.
- Performance Analysis: The ability to analyse performance and to articulate reasons behind successful achievement and poor performance and successfully address this.
