What skills and experience we're looking for
Qualified to degree level.
Qualified teacher status.
A proven track record of teaching and learning including excellent knowledge of strategies for raising achievement and achieving excellence.
Proven, recent, successful practice that motivates, challenges and develops students and includes excellent knowledge of how to build and sustain a learning community.
Experience working as a form tutor and working within a tutor team.
Experience working productively with parents, colleagues and the wider community.
Commitment to Professional Development in Maths & Computing teaching and wider curriculum pedagogy.
Demonstrate personal and professional integrity and an ability to model the values and vision of the school.
Excellent communication skills with a range of audiences.
Emotional resilience in working through challenges.
Ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children.
Demonstrate personal enthusiasm for and commitment to the learning process including a capacity for sustained hard work with energy and enthusiasm.
Give and receive effective feedback and act to improve personal performance.
Excellent skills of collaboration and networking for the benefit of pupils.
Be willing to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school.
Be able to excite and engage visitors about the School at Open Evenings and all other events.

Framingham Earl High School is a member of the Sapientia Education Trust (SET), an expanding multi-academy Trust consisting of 13 Primaries and 9 Secondary schools.
Framingham Earl High School has over 100 staff dedicated to providing a First Class education. The School’s most recent Ofsted in 2022 resulted in a rating of “Good”. GCSE results in 2024 put us in the top schools in Norfolk with 79% gaining Grade 4 plus and 57% gaining Grade 5 plus in English and Maths
