At King's Academy Binfield, Mathematics is a central pillar of our curriculum and our wider vision of providing opportunity and success on a global stage. We believe that mathematical understanding empowers students to think logically, reason critically and make informed decisions about the world around them. Our carefully sequenced curriculum supports students in developing confidence, resilience and academic excellence, while fostering a lifelong appreciation of mathematics.

Our Mathematics department is characterised by:

As part of our all-through academy, you will benefit from working within a unique educational environment spanning Nursery to Post-16, offering opportunities to understand and shape the full student journey. Our growing sixth form and expanding provision create exciting possibilities for both teaching and career development.

We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner who can inspire and motivate students to achieve their very best. The successful candidate will:

  • Have a passion for Mathematics and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
  • Demonstrate the ability to engage, challenge and support all learners
  • Thrive as part of a collaborative team and contribute to the wider life of the academy
  • Be reflective, ambitious and committed to their own professional development

We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who embody our core values of Honesty, Faith and Courage — approaching their work with integrity, optimism and a determination to make a meaningful difference.
