Are you a passionate and ambitious Maths Teacher ready to join a thriving secondary school community? We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated professional who believes that Maths is more than numbers and equations - that it's a vital skill for problem-solving, logical thinking, and understanding the world around us.

Why Join Our Team?

Impact and Scope: This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact by teaching the full curriculum, from KS3 right through to advanced KS5 (A-Level). You will be instrumental in helping students develop both confidence and a genuine love for the subject.

Collaborative Environment: You will be welcomed into a strong, collaborative, and supportive Maths Department committed to shared success.

As part of this role, you will:

  • Craft engaging and rigorous lessons that spark curiosity and capture students' interest.
  • Set ambitious goals for progress and tailor your teaching to meet the diverse needs of all individuals.
  • Create a positive classroom culture where every learner feels supported to achieve their best.
  • Foster excellent student behaviour through purposeful and inspiring teaching.

If you are committed to inspiring young minds and making a tangible difference to their futures, we would love to hear from you. Join us, and help us nurture the next generation of logical thinkers and problem solvers!

At TKASA, we also look after our colleagues. We offer high quality development opportunities and a supportive, dynamic and diverse workplace, highly supported by a hands-on team in all areas, from support, to teaching, to senior leadership.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Passion for a specialist subject.
  • Relevant teaching experience in KS3 and KS4. (KS5 would be desired but not essential)

We pride ourselves on being a flexible employer and strive to accommodate a variety of working arrangements, so we encourage you to apply. At our school, we take staff workload seriously and prioritise creating a supportive environment where teamwork is at the heart of everything we do. As part of a local Trust, our staff also benefit from collaborative opportunities and resources that come with being part of a wider community.

At the Priory Learning Trust, we offer an incredible, comprehensive employee benefits package. This includes..

  • Healthshield - Funded Healthcare Scheme for employees and all dependents, which provides services such as a 24/7 GP Line & Healthcare cashback.
  • Discounted nursery fees for parents AND grandparents at our Academy pre schools.
  • Contributory pension scheme offering generous employer contribution rates.
  • CPD opportunities both internally & externally.
  • A very friendly school community with dedicated, supportive & inspiring colleagues.
  • Health & Fitness offers, including incredible discounts on @Worle Sports Centre and Nuffield Health, and a Cycle 2 Work Scheme.
  • Flu vaccinations.
