What skills and experience we're looking for
We are delighted to announce that the Maths faculty is now working in partnership with the NCTEM Maths Hubs to deliver the latest in Maths professional development to local teachers within the Coventry and Warwickshire area. This fantastic opportunity allows the STM Maths Faculty to run their own working groups and offer training to other Maths departments across the local area. We have been exceptionally privileged to secure such a valuable partnership which will ultimately bring the most up-to-date educational research straight into our classrooms, continue to raise our teaching and learning profile in the wider area and bring into our school the best in mathematics teaching talent that Warwickshire has to offer. The future of the Maths faculty looks even brighter with more projects, partnerships and working groups planned as direct consequence of our newly formed partnership with The Maths Hubs, this would be the optimum time to join our faculty.
The successful applicant will be passionate about teaching Maths and developing students as curious learners who will become fluent in mathematical theories. They will inspire students to appreciate the richness and diversity of the world surrounding mathematics by engaging with current news and developments. They will be well organised and willing to go the ‘extra mile’. They will have a proven track record of successful Maths teaching across different key stages and believe that all students can, and deserve to succeed.
