The RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Maths to join our successful Mathematics department from January 2027. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented teacher or early career teacher who is passionate about their subject and committed to delivering exceptional learning experiences that enable scholars to achieve their full potential.
You will join a team dedicated to ensuring all scholars develop strong mathematical knowledge, confidence and problem-solving skills, preparing them for future success.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons that engage, challenge and inspire scholars.
- Plan and teach a knowledge-rich curriculum that supports strong progress and achievement.
- Assess, monitor and track scholar attainment, using data to inform teaching and intervention.
- Maintain high expectations of behaviour, effort and presentation.
- Support scholars of all abilities to achieve ambitious outcomes.
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement initiatives.
- Build positive relationships with scholars, parents and colleagues.
- Participate fully in the wider life of the academy, including enrichment activities and events.
- A qualified teacher with a passion for Mathematics and high-quality teaching.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to communicate concepts effectively.
- High expectations for scholar achievement, behaviour and attendance.
- A commitment to inclusive practice and ensuring every scholar succeeds.
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
