Role Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality, inclusive lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, that engage, challenge, and support all learners.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and positive classroom environment where diversity is celebrated, and every student feels respected and capable of success.
- Assess, track, and support individual student progress, providing constructive feedback that nurtures confidence and continuous improvement.
- Build strong, respectful working relationships with students, colleagues, families, and the wider community.
- Contribute to curriculum development, team planning, and the broader extra-curricular life of the school.
- Actively engage in continuous professional development (CPD) and contribute to whole-school initiatives.
What we are looking for
- Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent, along with a degree in a relevant discipline.
- Experience of working in a UK school environment: In either a teaching or classroom support capacity.
- Inclusive Mindset: A deep commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, ensuring every child receives the tailored support they need to thrive.
- Subject Passion: A genuine love for your subject and the ability to bring the curriculum to life in meaningful, creative ways.
- Positive Relationship Builder: Strong interpersonal and behaviour management skills rooted in empathy, positive reinforcement, and high expectations.
- Team Player: A collaborative attitude, eagerness to share best practice, and a willingness to contribute positively to our school culture.
