An exciting opportunity to be part of a strong team in a growing and thriving Academy with a clear vision and ambition for our students.
We are looking to appoint a Teacher of Maths for maternity cover to join our outstanding team of teachers. This post would suit either an experienced or early career teacher and is a full-time, temporary contract. The ethos of the team is extremely supportive and positive, with a proven track record of outstanding outcomes.

You will be joining a thriving school with a reputation for high quality staff/student relationships. The school is over-subscribed with 1520 students on roll with large Sixth Form of 420.
We had a monitoring inspection from OFSTED in January 2024. The highly complimentary report stated that “Pupils at Vandyke are proud and articulate ambassadors for their school. They enjoy learning and achieve well. They thrive as a result of the school’s ambition for all pupils to become ‘world ready citizens’ Pupils are confident, courteous and aspirational. The successful candidate will be reflective, innovative and be willing to continually develop their practice. You will lead a highly effective team who work collectively to move student progress forward each year.
