What skills and experience we're looking for
This role is flexible, and we are open to candidates who are looking for either full-time or part-time hours.
We are seeking a dynamic and committed professional to join our amazing school as a Teacher of Maths. You will be an ambitious, motivated, and compassionate teacher committed to improving life chances for our students. The school is on a rapid improvement journey, and you will need to be fully committed to investing time, effort, and expertise with all teams at the school to further contribute to this journey.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- To be responsible for adding value to every learner in each teaching group benchmarked against national criteria and data.
- To deliver, plan and prepare lessons in accordance with subject Schemes for Learning.
- To deliver learning by utilising new technologies and school/Trust policies on Assessment for Learning and Learning to Learn.
- To work as part of an exceptional area that ensures creative and innovative learning and teaching occurs in every lesson.
- Contribute to school improvement.
There are two available positions within the department, both of which provide exciting opportunities to make a significant impact on KS3 Mathematics. Additionally, one of these roles will include a TLR2a for responsibility of KS3 Mathematics, presenting an opportunity for leadership and further contribution to the department's success.
