Teacher of Maths job summary
Morton Academy is seeking to appoint an exceptional, enthusiastic and ambitious Teacher of Maths to join our successful and rapidly improving Mathematics Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to inspire students across the full age and ability range and contribute to the continued development of a thriving subject area.
We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about mathematics and committed to ensuring that every student achieves their full potential. The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner, with high expectations of achievement, strong subject knowledge and a genuine desire to make a difference to the lives of young people.

You will be an experienced teacher with Qualified Teacher Status, who consistently delivers good to outstanding lessons, or an early career teacher with the potential to be an exceptional practitioner. You will have strong interpersonal skills, sound behaviour management skills and have the highest expectations for what our pupils can achieve. Above all, you will be committed to helping every child fulfil their potential and to bringing out ‘the best in everyone’ and playing an active role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
