Start Date: September 2022 or as soon as possible
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Full Time)
Salary: United Learning Pay Scale (Dependent on Experience)

Salford City Academy is a medium sized comprehensive Academy that lies in the heart of its community, we are very proud of our collective achievements. Everyone feels proud that we are improving the life chances of all our students.
The Academy is based in Eccles, Manchester, just off Junction 11 of the M60 – Manchester’s ring road. It serves a predominantly white working class population and the proportion of students eligible for student premium funding is above national average. The proportion of students with special educational needs is in line with national average.
We are a rapidly improving Academy and we are part of the United Learning Multi-Academy trust. In August 2019, our students achieved the best ever GCSE results, attendance was above national standards, behaviour improved and we had introduced our ‘Aspire Curriculum’. Our staff are ambitious for all students, they work hard and strive to provide a wide range of extra-curricular and career opportunities for our students. The leadership team are supportive, dynamic and have led staff and students effectively to create a positive inspiring learning culture.
Within SCA, we embrace collaborative partnerships with all schools within United learning, and we are excited to be part of the ‘Salford Cluster’ which incorporates 3 other secondary Academies and 2 primary schools.
