What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you a newly qualified or experienced Secondary Maths teacher? If so, we would like to hear from you!

We are looking for a passionate Maths teacher to join our ambitious and visionary Maths team based on the secondary site. This role would be suitable for either a newly qualified or more experienced teacher.

The successful candidate will be required to teach Maths to students of all abilities and ages (11-16yrs) using methods to develop a deep and broad mathematical understanding; and will be able to confidently create a positive and enthusiastic learning environment that ensures good classroom practice.

The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject area; have excellent subject knowledge and be able to teach effectively across the age and ability ranges.

What the school offers its staff

In September 2018 The Bay CE School opened as an all-through school providing education for students aged 4 to 16years old. The school has two sites and this role is available at the Secondary site.
