Teacher of MFL job summary
We are excited to have this opportunity for an inspirational Teacher of MFL to join The Deepings School to help develop the next generation of linguists.
Currently, Spanish is the core language, taught on entry in Year 7 in banded groups. Spanish at KS3 builds on the National Curriculum but also incorporates wider hinterland knowledge. At KS4 students work towards the AQA GCSE.
Spanish is our preferred language but we would like to hear from you if you are able to offer French as an alternative.
You will have:
- a good degree and Qualified Teacher Status
- the ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities and from all backgrounds
- a passion for languages and other cultures which shows in your classroom practice
- the ability to guide students through their academic and personal development
