Teacher of MFL (French) job summary
This is a truly exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious French teaching specialist to work as part of the MFL department at The Mirfield Free Grammar part of Great Heights Academy Trust. You will be instrumental in inspiring and motivating our students. You will play a key role in helping to drive the Academy forward, raising standards and creating outstanding life chances for students.
We are looking to recruit a teaching professional who is truly passionate about teaching French from KS3 to KS4. To be able to teach Spanish as a secondary language would be desirable but not essential. We are looking for someone who wants to inspire, who is committed to developing students; someone who is excited by learning and has a desire to develop a career within an ambitious Multi-Academy Trust. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and driven by the desire to deliver outstanding Teaching and Learning.
In return you will work with a progressive and forward thinking Multi Academy Trust where there are opportunities for development and career progression. Great Heights Academy Trust is a growing multi-academy trust with nine schools in the West Yorkshire area with plans to further expand. In addition, we are home to a SCITT, Research School and an English Hub.
As standard, we offer ongoing Continuous Professional Development covering all aspects of teaching, learning and leadership, preparing you for the next phase of your career. We are confident that new teachers joining our school will feel welcomed from the moment they start their journey with us, and we absolutely encourage prospective applicants to visit our school prior to applying if they wish.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Commitment to safeguarding
The Academy is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Parents can feel confident that careful procedures are in place to ensure that all staff and volunteers are suitable to work with children within the Academy. Consistent and effective safeguarding procedures are in place to support families, children and staff. The Academy encourages parents and children to talk freely about any concerns or worries which may affect their wellbeing.
