MPS/UPS (Fringe Area)

Permanent, Full-time/Part- time contract 

Start Date:  January / April 2023

We are looking for someone who is focused, resilient and good humoured with excellent subject knowledge, who is ready to take the next step in their career to engage our students in developing a passion for all languages to join the existing team. Applicants should also possess excellent communication skills, be extremely motivated and have exceptional interpersonal skills. 

We would like you to:

  • Qualified Teacher Status

  • Experience and evidence of a positive impact in a similar role

  • The ability to teach both French and Spanish at KS3 and either French or Spanish (or both)at KS4.

  • Experience using the EPI approach developed by Dr Gianfranco Conti or willingness to learn about and embrace the approach.

  • A willingness to use centralised resources for Y7 and assist with co-planning, co-creation, and sharing of EPI resources for Y8 and Y9. Strong IT skills are desirable.

  • The ability to show initiative, to multi-task and develop existing skills.

  • Ability to demonstrate patience, flexibility and a sense of humour.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate effective communication with a range of stakeholders.

  • A willingness to undertake Continuing Professional Development and Learning (CPD)

  • A natural aptitude to model the Trust’s core behaviours – ‘ We display transparency, kindness and respect in all our interactions with others, and support each other in all our endeavours.  We are tenacious in our desire to make the difference together
