What skills and experience we're looking for

We are a very enthusiastic and dedicated Department with a real passion for languages. We offer a range of clubs and events after school to foster students’ interest and celebrate students’ success.

We offer French and Spanish at KS3 and 4 and have two legacy KS4 Italian Classes. We are looking for a practitionerwho can teach Spanish and French within our dedicated and committed team. The ability to teach Italian at KS4 would be advantageous to see our legacy group through

Additionally, there is a TLR available as KS Co-ordinator for the right candidate.

The Department provides pupils with a rich variety of lessons and a broad range of opportunities to extend their learning. The Department continually explores new and interesting ways to teach the subject, in order to engage pupils at every level and ensure all reach their full potential.

There are currently 5 members of the Languages Department, teaching at KS3 and KS4, with a mix of full-time and part-time staff. We are now looking to expand the team.

We also welcome applications from those returning to work after a career break.
