We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of Music who is passionate about their subject and able to make a positive contribution to the learning experiences of our students. Music is very popular at Oakmoor with an excellent track record of success. The Performing Arts Department is well resourced with a professional auditorium/theatre space and a dedicated music suite. The lessons we teach are dynamic, varied and interesting, with all students being challenged in a supportive environment. Teachers individualise their own lessons within the curriculum strand being taught. You will be teaching across the age and attainment range at both Key Stage 3 and 4 in an environment where students are well behaved and keen to do well. Music is a popular Key Stage 4 option with a significant number of students opting for it as a subject. Applications from Newly Qualified Teachers or experienced teachers are encouraged. We are looking for someone who has excellent subject knowledge and strong teaching skills. As part of the University of Chichester Multi-Academy Trust you will have access to additional opportunities and benefits.
