Teacher of Music (1.0 FTE) job summary
Standish Community High School is advertising for a permanent Teacher of Music, to commence employment as soon as possible.
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Music with the vision, drive, and determination to inspire a love of music and contribute to the continued success of Performing Arts at Standish. This role is ideally suited to an ambitious and highly effective practitioner with a proven track record of delivering excellent music teaching and achieving strong outcomes for students. The successful candidate will be a passionate music specialist with the ability to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the age and ability range, inspiring students to develop their musical knowledge, skills, and creativity. They will foster a culture of excellence, participation, and performance both within and beyond the classroom, making a significant contribution to the rich musical life of the school through ensembles, concerts, productions, and enrichment activities.
