An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated Teacher of Music and Drama to join our teaching team at Oasis Academy Don Valley, delivering high quality Music lessons within a supportive and ambitious learning environment.
About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and creative Teacher of Music and Drama to join a well-qualified and effective team of teachers in Sheffield. You’ll be a well-rounded Music practitioner with the ability to deliver both theory and performance aspects of the subject, in line with wider curriculum requirements, ensuring class achievement is raised and sustained.
Job requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification
- Relevant specialist qualifications and subject experience (e.g BA Hons degree in a Music or a Musical Theory-related field)
- Ability to deliver Music lessons to a high standard
- Understanding of curriculum requirements for Music
- Exemplary communication skills for a range of abilities
