Teacher of Music job summary
Required for January 2021.
An enthusiastic and well qualified teacher of Music is required to join a highly successful Expressive Arts Department. The person appointed will be expected to teach Music across all key stages including GCSE and in the Sixth Form.
The post would be an ideal opportunity for a new entrant to the profession although equally attractive to a more experienced colleague. We make a significant commitment to supporting Newly Qualified and Early Years teachers.
This year, the Music department achieved GCSE Music 92% 4+ (ALPS 2), A Level Music 67% A*-B ALPS 3. There is an extensive extra-curricular and concert programme with over 100 students having musical instrument lessons in school. The school is Artmark Gold and has a notable commitment to the Arts.
