Washington Academy, part of Consilium Academies, is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, talented and committed Teacher of Music to join our successful team.

What you'll do
As Teacher of Music, you will:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring Music lessons across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
- Plan, assess and deliver high-quality teaching that enables excellent progress for all learners.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive.
- Contribute to the wider life of the academy through enrichment and extra-curricular opportunities.
- Support students' academic achievement alongside their personal and emotional development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to continue raising standards across the academy.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Music.
- Can motivate and inspire young people of all abilities.
- Has high expectations for behaviour, achievement and attendance.
- Is committed to inclusive education and ensuring every student succeeds.
- Enjoys working as part of a supportive and collaborative team.
