Teacher of Music job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a permanent Teacher of Music. We are preferably looking to appoint on a part time 0.3 Fte basis but the exact Fte can be discussed further. The team is dynamic and hardworking group of teachers. Farlingaye is a school that highly values the Arts and this is reflected in the breadth of opportunities afford to our students within the creative arts faculty as well as the support from staff across the school.

There is a shared commitment to high standards of teaching and learning as well as concern for each individual student they work with. The person appointed will be assured of considerable support; we are a very successful, enthusiastic, hardworking faculty who are keen to share ideas and the principle of mutual professional support is paramount.

The music department fosters a sense of teamwork and aspiration, where we all work towards a common goal. We have a strong tradition of contributing to the wider community and engaging students in a busy and inclusive extra-curricular life. A new member of the team who is willing to share ideas and contribute to exciting initiatives would be a welcome addition.
