What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our excellent Performing Arts team to teach Music to cover a maternity leave.
Performing Arts are an important part of our curriculum and children enjoy and engage really well in these subjects, with lessons in Music, Dance and Drama from Year 7. We also embrace the extracurricular element of the subject areas with performances and visits to theatres and concerts. Our subject area is well resourced with an excellent curriculum and is supported by an excellent team leader. Music is a popular subject area with GCSE and Vocational Options.
The successful candidate will be innovative, creative and enthusiastic with a determination to achieve the highest outcomes, have an incisive understanding of teaching and learning and the ability to reflect and challenge.
