What the school offers its staff

We are a thriving school, sat in beautiful grounds on the outskirts of Evesham. Having gone through a period of phased expansion, we have 450 pupils on roll across the 3 years [Y6, Y7 & Y8] and are full with waiting lists. We have a new Headteacher in post and are working hard on developing a knowledge-based curriculum with high ambitions for all pupils.

We are a comprehensive school and offer a positive and supportive environment. We are pupil centred and have academic and moral aspirations for all of our pupils. Children who leave St Egwin’s predominantly go on to study at Prince Henry’s High School where their GCSE and A Level results are consistently well above national averages.

Ofsted feedback (March 2019): “Pupils are hard-working, confident learners, orderly, smart, keen and ready to learn and articulate”. “The senior team has an ambitious vision for the school.” “Relationships are a strength across the school”.

You can expect the following when working at St Egwin’s:

  • To work in a calm, purposeful environment.

  • Highly supportive leaders and supportive colleagues.

  • Pupils who external visitors consistently comment are well behaved and positive.
