Teacher of Music job summary

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Music teacher to join our Performing Art Faculty, teaching GCSE and KS3 Music with the potential to expand into A Level. We will also look to you to contribute fully to extra-curricular commitments, such as whole school productions and concerts.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate and dedicated team, looking to expand the cultural capital and musical experiences of the young people in our setting.

To be successful, you will be confident in the delivery of GCSE Music and have the ambition and dedication to continue to develop the curriculum in line with current practice and research in effective teaching. The ability to play piano and lead vocal work is highly desirable.

Furthermore, we will look to you to be able to support in the promotion of excellent standards of student learning, achievement, progress, attainment and behaviour through working effectively and collaboratively.
