We are looking to appoint a male Teacher of PE to work at Stone Lodge School to support our growing number of male students.

Key points:

• Teach and inspire our increasing male student population in PE.
• Male applicants only, due to the need to supervise the boy's changing rooms (in line with the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1).
• Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment in PE lessons

Commitment to safeguarding

At Stone Lodge our approach to safeguarding is child-centred and we consider at all times the best interest of the child.
We have a designated safeguarding lead, who provides support to staff members to carry out their safeguarding duties and liaises with other agencies such as children’s social care.
Mr Barnett is also a safeguarding lead and regular meetings are held to discuss any ongoing safeguarding or welfare concerns.
All staff members receive safeguarding and child protection training which is regularly updated.
