Teacher of PE and Drama job summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of PE to cover a period of maternity leave. This post also includes 2 periods of Drama per week.

The PE Department is a dynamic and supportive team committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning. We currently offer insert department] across Key Stages 3 and 4, with many students continuing to study the subject at A Level (Key Stage 5). Our schemes of learning are designed to challenge and inspire, while also providing structured support for students of all abilities.

We are looking for someone who:

Has qualified teacher status (QTS) and experience teaching at secondary level.

Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to raising standards.

Builds positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

Is dedicated, organised, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment.

The ability to promote the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people and take appropriate action when required,’ instilling high expectations in all our students.
