Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation to lead healthy and active lives? Do you have a knack for turning fitness into fun-filled learning experiences? We're seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join our vibrant school community!

Some of your key responsibilities will be:

  • To develop engaging and innovative lesson plans to promote physical fitness, motor skill development, and teamwork.

  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
  • Organize and supervise extracurricular sports activities, games, and fitness challenges.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to integrate health and wellness initiatives across the curriculum.

At Pinner High School, our pedagogical approach is based on the principles of Rosenshine. All our lessons begin with a do now activity, aimed at recalling knowledge. In addition, a high proportion of students are categorised as higher ability, we therefore expect appropriate challenge in learning. Learning episodes contain challenge tasks in addition to main activities which support the progression of all students. Students often use green pens to self assess work and teachers use expert subject knowledge for assessment for learning.

Join a dedicated and collaborative team, working together to enhance the overall educational experience. As a member of the school you will have access to a wealth of CPD opportunities and learning, 3 weeks break at Christmas, access to free parking and free gym access and prospects for additional responsibilities and secondments. We will provide a comprehensive induction and supportive probation, well planned and structured inset days, enhanced benefits after 1 years continuous service and access to coaching and mentoring.
