Icknield High School is a highly successful 11-16 multi-cultural Academy with an excellent reputation, situated in pleasant grounds on the northern outskirts of town.
We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, ambitious, inspirational and highly motivated female Physical Education Teacher to join our well-resourced PE department.
As a member of the PE team, you will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 and support all students in becoming fully engaged in our PE curriculum. Our curriculum is designed to develop and enhance physical literacy, inspire curiosity and promote a lifetime of healthy physical activity. This is all provided through a broad and balanced curriculum, ensuring the needs of all our students are met.
We provide students with an array of opportunities and experiences beyond the classroom, including clubs and fixtures, spectating at professional sports events and taking part in reward trips. As a member of the PE team, you will be required to contribute to this extensive extracurricular and sporting fixture provision.
The successful candidate will be able to display and promote excellence in teaching and learning and have the potential to make a real difference to the outcomes of our students.
