What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Physical Education who will share our determination to transform the life chances of our pupils. Queensbridge School is an 11 - 16 comprehensive, friendly and oversubscribed all-ability Foundation School of 900 pupils.
This is an excellent opportunity for a specialist to join a high performing department. The department inspires our pupils and raises achievement through deep learning and a creative curriculum. The PE department offers an extensive range of co-curricular activities throughout the school year which is highly valued and well attended by our students. We are seeking outstanding candidates who can realise the highest possible quality of provision to enable the best possible outcomes for our pupils.
The successful candidate will:
Have a rigorous and inventive approach to the delivery of Physical Education across both KS3 and KS4 all ability ranges and a commitment to the best possible outcomes for all pupils.
Be infectiously enthusiastic about the subject and be passionate about promoting physical health, well-being and high participation across all key stages and for all pupils.
Demonstrate a dedication to enriching students' school experience through the development and expansion opportunities beyond the standard curriculum.
Actively contribute to the long term vision and practice of both the whole school and the PE Department
