What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to recruit to our team for September 2025 a passionate, innovative teacher of PE and Maths. You will be joining a successful and supportive team where you will have the opportunity to teach across the age and ability range at KS3-5 within PE and up to KS4 in Maths for the right candidate. This post would suit trainees and ECTs or staff looking for additional experience in a different school.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Are excellent teachers and ethical professionals, with values and integrity at the heart of any philosophy and outlook rather than ego or status.

  • Have excellent communication and people skills alongside emotional intelligence.

  • Understand what excellent teaching and learning looks like.

  • Are passionate about the transformative power of education, care about young people, and are willing to challenge complacency in order to ensure the best possible outcomes for all learners.

What the school offers its staff

We can offer you:

  • The support of a vibrant and driven senior leadership team, committed to supporting staff with a mindful approach to teacher workload and promoting a healthy work/life balance.

  • A fantastic, modern building in a convenient location, within walking distance of several Metro stations and close to Four Lane Ends bus station.

  • An evidence-informed approach to CPD, offering tailored professional development opportunities for both teaching and support staff.

  • A collaborative, open-door culture that celebrates and shares best practices.

  • A strong emphasis on traditional KIDMAP values: Kindness, Integrity, Determination, Manners, Ambition, and Positivity.

  • Outstanding support for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and a dedication to developing talent, cultivating excellent leaders, and empowering them to build their own high-performing teams.

  • An inspiring and motivated student body, making teaching and learning truly rewarding.
