We are looking to appoint a talented, enthusiastic and ambitious teacher of Personal Development.
Personal Development is a highly valued subject which covers statutory Relationship, Health and Sex Education (RHSE), online safety, British values and citizenship as well as careers provision and other topics. A complete overview of the curriculum can be found on the school website. Personal Development is taught to all year groups; 2 hours a week to year 7 and 1 hour a week to all other year groups 8 through 13. You will be supported by an experienced Director of Learning alongside an Assistant Headteacher who line manages the faculty.

Sandringham School is part of the Ambition Education Trust (AET). The Ambition Education Trust (AET) consists of eleven schools in Hertfordshire; four primary, one nursery and infants’, one juniors and five secondary. Our Trust launched in September 2024 following the amalgamation of two established Multi Academy Trusts (MATs), Alban Academies Trust and ATLAS Multi Academy Trust. As a member of the AET, we are able to maximise opportunities for rewarding careers and opportunities for personal and professional development throughout our wider organisation. Sandringham School also leads the Alban Teaching School Hub.
