An exciting opportunity has arising at The St Leonards Academy and we are looking to appoint a dynamic and creative part time teacher of Personal Development (0.4) to join our team of talented teachers as we strive to achieve the very best outcomes for our students.  As a member of the Personal Development department you will have high expectations and a proven track record of exceptional progress with students from a range of different backgrounds. We are a diverse and thriving Academy that has achieved a ‘Good’ rating from Ofsted. Joining us would provide you with opportunities to engage with a highly personalised CPD programme at the same time as making a significant difference to the lives of our young people.

The St Leonards Academy is a secondary school for 11 to 16-year olds in St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex. We have a clear vision of what creates successful learners and how to implement it. Our pupils are enthusiastic about learning and take pride in themselves. Our school values of potential, respect, integrity, determination and excellence run through everything we do.  We are one of twenty TEEP Ambassador schools in the UK. TEEP stands for Teacher Effectiveness Enhancement; that we have been selected as an ambassador school speaks volumes for how crucial a part of our culture teacher development is. We offer 300 student places each year and have a total capacity of 1500. We also host a special facility for up to 20 young people with physical disabilities and severe autism.
