Students are provided with the opportunity to study Eduqas A Level, with Buddhism as the focus for Component 3: Study of a World Religion. With a high profile across the school, the department has consistently demonstrated its ability to engage students through dynamic and thought-provoking lessons that challenge their understanding of religion and world views through the lens of ethical issues. Recent achievements include exam results that exceeded the national average in the summer 2024 examinations. The Philosophy and Ethics Department continues to enrich students' learning experiences through trips that offer real-world insight into different religious practices and beliefs.
